Cosmetic Dentistry

Whitening, bonding, veneers, and more to help you smile with confidence.

Cosmetic dentistry is about helping you feel good about your smile. Some patients want a small change — a tooth straightened, a chip repaired, a brighter color. Others want a full makeover. Whatever the goal, we start by listening and then walk you through your options.

What it is

Cosmetic dentistry covers any treatment that improves how your teeth look. The most common services we offer include:

  • Teeth whitening — in-office or take-home options to brighten your natural teeth
  • Tooth-colored bonding — a quick way to fix small chips, gaps, or color spots
  • Porcelain veneers — thin custom shells that reshape and brighten the front teeth
  • Cosmetic crowns — strong, natural-looking caps for damaged or discolored teeth
  • Invisalign / clear aligners — straighten teeth without metal braces
  • Gum reshaping — small, careful adjustments to even out a “gummy” smile

Many smile makeovers combine two or three of these — for example, whitening followed by a few veneers on the front teeth.

What to expect

The first step is a consult. You bring photos of smiles you like, or just tell us what bothers you when you look in the mirror. We examine your teeth, talk about what is realistic, and lay out two or three approaches at different levels of investment.

If you move forward:

  1. We may take photos, X-rays, or digital scans to plan your case
  2. For veneers or makeovers, we often make a wax-up or digital preview so you can see the design before any tooth is touched
  3. Treatment happens in one to several visits depending on what you choose
  4. We follow up to make sure everything still feels great a few weeks later

We do not pressure anyone into cosmetic treatment. If a simpler option will get you where you want to go, we will say so.

Who it’s for

Cosmetic dentistry may be a good fit if you:

  • Are unhappy with the color, shape, or position of your teeth
  • Have a chipped or worn tooth that is showing when you smile
  • Are preparing for a big event — wedding, photos, a new job
  • Want to look the way you feel inside
  • Have a healthy mouth and want to take the next step

Cosmetic work usually starts after any active dental issues are taken care of — cavities filled, gums healthy, bite stable. If you have issues to address first, we will sort those out and then plan the cosmetic work on a solid foundation.
